Abstract

Farmers Terms of Trade (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
In June 2023, NTP in Papua Province fell by 0.24 percent with an NTP index of 100.05. The decrease in FTT occurred because the price index received by farmers (It) decreased by 0.07 percent, which was slower than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) which was 0.17 percent.
The June 2023 National NTP was 110.41 or an increase of 0.19 percent compared to the previous month's NTP.
The results of NTP calculations in 34 provinces in June 2023 show that 21 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 13 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP, where Lampung Province recorded the highest increase in NTP, which was 2.79 percent, while Riau Province recorded the deepest decline in NTP. namely 4.20 percent.
Papuan villages in June 2023 recorded an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of 0.17 percent.
The Papuan Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in June 2023 was 101.60 or decreased by 0.25 percent.
