Data Companion - On Monday (23/02), a regular meeting between the Regent, Deputy Regent, Secretary, Assistant and OPD leadership of Supiori Regency was held on the terrace of the Regent's office lobby. This activity is routinely carried out every Monday after the morning assembly. This time felt special because the Supiori BPS Team was also present to socialise the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) activities.
The meeting was opened by the Deputy Regent. He reminded everyone of several activities in a number of OPDs during the week. He also said that BPS is the only source of government data, therefore BPS needs to continuously build close communication and coordination with local governments to synchronise data and align it with the actual development situation in Supiori Regency.
Next, the BPS team led by the Chief of BPS Supiori, Paul Santoso, S.ST, M.Si, delivered a presentation on SE2026, which included an overview of the census implementation, the scope of data collection, the stages of activities, and the strategic roles of local governments, business actors, and the community in ensuring the success of SE2026. The Supiori Regency Government enthusiastically expressed its full support for the held of SE2026.
The event continued with the signing of a Letter of Support from the Regent of Supiori Regency for the implementation of SE2026. The official support of the Regent of Supiori Regency, Heronimus Mansoben, S.IP., M.Si., in ensuring the success of SE2026 is a concrete step towards providing accurate and high-quality economic data for sustainable regional development. After the meeting, the Regent and Deputy Regent of Supiori recorded a video supporting the implementation of SE2026.
SE2026 is not only the responsibility of BPS, but the responsibility of us all. Together, let us record today for better planning tomorrow.
Let us make SE2026 a success.
