Abstract

The 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) is an agricultural census seventh held by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) every 10 (ten) years since 1963. The implementation of ST2023 is mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and refers to a number of recommendations from FAO which establishes "The World Program for the Cencus of Agriculture (WCA) Covering Period 2016–2025 ". Implementation of ST2023 is carried out in stages, namely complete enumeration of agricultural businesses in the period 1 June–31 July 2023, followed by detailed data collection through the Agricultural Economic Survey and Agricultural Production and Environmental Survey in 2024.
